Gandhi Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, is celebrated to honour the legacy of the Father of the Nation and remind students of his values of truth, non-violence and simplicity. On this occasion, the children of the Pre-Primary wing of DPS, Chandigarh were acquainted with Bapu's teachings and principles. Some children came dressed as 'Gandhi Ji' and spoke about his life. One could sense the feeling of patriotism as the children sang songs and also did a craft activity to understand Bapu's principles better. It was a day full of joy as well as patriotic fervor.
