Delhi Public School, Chandigarh celebrated its 79th Independence Day with great patriotic fervor. The atmosphere buzzed with national pride as the 'tiranga' was hoisted under an overcast sky.  The  celebrations not  only paid a tribute to the ones who fought for our independence, but also to the ones who held a  futuristic vision for our country. The musical rendition by the school choir which sang 'Lehra do' among other patriotic hymns touched a chord in everyone’s heart.

 Director  Mrs. Reema Dewan,  in her message highlighted India's progress, emphasizing stability, economic growth, women's empowerment, and equality. She stressed the importance of doing what's right legally and  ethically. The ceremony culminated in a rousing rendition of the National Anthem.
