Healthy Eating with a Touch of Good Manners
Class III students enjoyed a colourful and healthy no-fire cooking experience through the Rainbow Veggie Salad activity. Each child brought their choice of fresh, seasonal vegetables and prepared a vibrant salad full of flavours and nutrition. Ingredients included options like grated beetroot, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber, sweet corn, and chickpeas, along with optional seasonings like lemon juice or chaat masala—all based on individual preferences. The activity encouraged students to appreciate healthy eating and make independent food choices. To add a meaningful touch, students also participated in a Mini Table Etiquette session, where they practised saying “Please,” “Thank you,” and “May I?” while sharing and enjoying their salads with classmates.
