To instil patriotism, gratitude and awareness about the valour of our armed forces, Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, commemorated Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 25, 2025, with the students of the Pre-Primary wing. The day was observed to honour the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers during the Kargil War.

Teachers narrated the story of the Kargil War, helping the young learners understand the significance of this historic event. Teachers emphasized values such as courage, respect for soldiers and love for the nation. The little ones also watched a Power Point presentation and animated videos which explained the concept of national defence in a fun and relatable manner.

To further express their respect, the children sang patriotic songs imbued with national pride and love.

It was a touching and inspiring experience for the children, fostering a deep sense of respect and admiration for the Indian Army and their sacrifices.
