As part of the nationwide Swachhta Hi Seva 2025 campaign under the aegis of the Swachh Bharat Mission, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh announced the launch of the Swachhotsav Pratiyogita —a vibrant inter-school competition aimed at fostering civic responsibility, environmental stewardship, and participatory cleanliness among students. Schools participating in the Swachhotsav Praliyogita were evaluated on a comprehensive set of parameters, including: cleanliness and upkeep of school premises, effective waste segregation practices, hygienic maintenance of toilets, and the presence of a structured waste disposal mechanism. Delhi Public School was felicitated  by the Hon'ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator U.T. Chandigarh  Mr Gulab Chand Kataria during the Swachh Samman Smaroh on 2nd October 2025, organized by the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh.
