To nurture a sense of responsibility and love for nature among the young learners,  'Nature Conservation Day'  was celebrated on July 28, 2025 with great enthusiasm in the Pre-Primary wing of DPS, Chandigarh. 

The day was marked by a series of hands-on creative activities where children learned the value of recycling and reusing materials to reduce waste and protect the environment. Students showcased their creativity by making coasters out of waste cardboard, giving discarded items a new and useful purpose. They also used plastic bottles to make colorful planters and bird feeders. Toilet paper tubes were creatively designed to make pencil holders. The students not only enjoyed the process but also understood how small actions can lead to a big impact on conserving nature.
