To nurture a sense of patriotism and honor the sacrifices of our national heroes, the Pre-Primary Wing of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh celebrated Independence Day with immense zeal and pride on August 5 to August 14,2025. The little children came dressed up as freedom fighters, famous personalities, unsung heroes and representations of different states of India. Each child confidently spoke a few lines about the character they represented, sharing their bravery and contribution to India’s independence and progress. The celebration was made even more lively as the children sang patriotic songs with great enthusiasm, filling the atmosphere with love for the country. Parents were also invited to witness the program and were delighted to see their young ones expressing respect for our Nation.

The event not only helped the children learn about the sacrifices made for our freedom but also encouraged them to feel proud of their country from a young age.
