NURSERY (Level 1)

Online registration form for admission to Class Nursery will be available on the school’s website: www.dpschd.com from Tuesday, December 9, 2025 to Monday, December 22, 2025. Form will be available online only.

Submission of form

Registration form should be filled online and requisite documents should be uploaded latest by Monday, December 22, 2025 through link available on school website. After successful submission of registration form, the parents are required to pay the mandatory registration fee of Rs. 150/- via online payment gateway.

Important: Non-payment of the registration fee will result in automatic rejection of the application. No additional reminders or notifications will be sent in such cases.

Kindly Note :

• Verify eligibility criteria before applying.
• Only one application form per child will be accepted online.
• Upload clear, legible copies of the required documents.
• The school will not be held responsible for any incorrect/incomplete form/documents.
• This online application form is not applicable for candidates under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category. Admission under the EWS category will be facilitated by the Department of Education, Chandigarh Administration.
• No requests for late submission of forms/documents will be entertained beyond the specified deadline.
• Registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

The final list of eligible candidates for the draw of lots will be put up on the school website by Friday, January 16, 2026.

Age Criteria

For admission to Class Nursery, the child should have completed 3 years as on March 31, 2026 i.e. children born between April 1, 2022 and March 31, 2023.

Seat Availability & Reservation

Total Seats : 100
Reserved for EWS under RTE Act 25% i.e. 25 seats
General Category : 75 seats out of which some reserved for Siblings, Staff and DPS Chandigarh Alumni.

Admission Criteria

The selection will be based on Draw of Lots which will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. for 75 non-EWS seats. The draw of lots will be held through offline mode in the school auditorium.

Please specify your mobile numbers and e-mail IDs correctly as information regarding the same shall be intimated through SMS/e-mail. The school will not be held responsible for any incorrect/incomplete details regarding mail IDs and phone numbers.

Documents Required

• Birth Certificate of the child
• One passport size photograph of the child, child’s father and mother.
• Class XII passing certificate, in case the parent is alumni of DPS Chandigarh.

To apply for admission to Classes Prep I to IX, kindly fill out the Google Form (link provided below) and upload the required documents. Please note that no separate application will be accepted. Admission is subject to seat availability.

For Admission to Class IX, the student has to appear for an entrance test. The date of entrance test and syllabus will be updated on the school website shortly. The child must fill the given google form to appear for the entrance test and interaction. The selection will be based purely on merit.
