The Annual Prize distribution of the students of Class IX, Session 2020-21 presently in class X 2021- 22 of DPS Chandigarh was held on 21st August 2021 on the virtual platform. The students of each section presented a short program based on the theme “Heal the World”.
The programme commenced with a prayer to “Heal the World”, followed by the address of the Principal, Mrs Reema Dewan. In her address, Principal Ma’am talked about both the challenges and the opportunities brought forth by these unprecedented times. She emphasised that the innovation and creativity stimulated by this crisis has leveraged to make education systems more just, inclusive and resilient and hoped that the crisis-inspired glimpse into potential opportunities for improvement in the areas of curricula, students, teachers and educational settings will benefit student community. She hoped and expected that by next academic session things would normalize.
She also appreciated and highlighted the achievements of the students of Class X and XII 2020-21.
The class show aptly titled ‘Heal the World’ put up by the students was a visual treat. Based on clean and green environment, organic farming and communal harmony it kept everyone enthralled and gave an enriching message to the audience. The performances amazed the spectators and held them in awe.
The show was much lauded by everyone and it was truly successful in showcasing the multifarious talent of the Dipsites.
