Jaiveer Singh of class 2A secured First Position in CGC Junior golf tournament held on 4th July 2015. He was also declared Overall Winner of the tournament.

Workshops on ‘Google tools in Education’
The Computer Department of DPS Chandigarh held a series of 4 workshops on ‘Google tools in Education’ for the master trainers of various departments from 21st to 29th May 2015. The workshops elaborated the use of Google docs, sheets, forms and Youtube to the teachers and guided them to incorporate these in their everyday classroom teaching. The role of ICT in education was discussed and the sessions involved various hands-on exercises. The teachers thoroughly enjoyed and highly appreciated the workshop as they found it very useful and relevant to their teaching plan.
Workshop on Communication and Body Language
A workshop on Communication and Body Language was organized for Pre-Primary Teachers and conducted by Ms. Sangeeta Sood. The workshop was about how teaching can be made effective by emphasizing more on body language and having a positive attitude.

A workshop on Learning Disabilities was conducted by Ms. Nidhi Arya for the teachers of Pre-Primary wing. The teachers were apprised with different types of Learning Disabilities which children may have and how to deal with it.
