Pre- Primary celebrated ‘Teacher’s Day’

Teachers’ Day is celebrated to honour and recognize the hard work, dedication, and impact of teachers on students’ lives. It is celebrated on 5th September every year on the birthday of Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a respected educator and philosopher. The students of the Pre-Primary Wing of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh celebrated this day with great enthusiasm by expressing their gratitude to the teachers for their role in education, shaping futures and contribution to society. The students were shown PPTs to understand the history behind this celebration. The students also made beautiful cards for their teachers to acknowledge the role of teachers as their mentors.

Class Nursery organised ‘Purple Day’

Colours always fascinate us. To make the little ones aware about colours and how they add beauty to things around us, ‘Purple Day’ was celebrated by the little ones of class Nursery of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh. Dressed in purple clothes, the little ones added colour and vigour to the event as they enjoyed mixing red and blue colour to get purple colour. The children also took part in an activity wherein they made a purple colour cat with hand printing. It turned out to be a remarkable day which served the purpose of celebration with education.

Our student, Gurasis made us proud in State shooting Championship!

49th State Shooting Championship held at Shooting Ranges , Sector 25 , Chandigarh from 08.08 24 to 12.08.24

The Shooting Championship is being organized by
Chandigarh Rifle Association and during Championship events for .177 air riffe/pistol, .22 Rifle, .22 standard pistol , .22 free pistol , .22 sports pistol and centre fire pistol events were held.

Gurasis has won State Gold Medal in 50m Rifle Prone (Team ) at 49th State Shooting Championship.

This achievement qualifies Gurasis to represent state for pre-nationals.
