State Level Events

Dakshmeet Singh of class V was declared Winner in U-11 category at Chandigarh State Badminton tournament under the aegis of Chandigarh Badminton association at Sports Complex Sector 7, Chandigarh from May 31,2018 to June 3,2018.

Sukant Balwada (Class IX) won Inspire Manak Award for his project on “Detecting breakage in Transmission lines” at State Level Exhibition. He won a cash prize of Rs 10,000 /- .

Mehtab Kaur of class 9A won a Gold medal in 400 mts and a Bronze medal in 100mts race in Chandigarh Senior State Athletic Meet held at Chandigarh on January 27,2018.

Soumil Arora of class 9H bagged a Gold medal in the Open Junior Baseball State Championship 2017-18 held at DAV College, sector -10 Chandigarh from January 20,2018 to January 21,2018.

Mehtab Kaur of class 9A bagged 3 Gold medals in 100 mt, 400 mt, 4X100 mt relay race in U-17 category in Open District Meet held at Sports Stadium Sec-78 Mohali.

Kritika of class 9A bagged a Silver medal in State Championship of Inline Hockey held at KBDAV Sector 7 Chandigarh from January 5, 2018 to January 7, 2018. She has been selected for Nationals.

Praghya Rana of class VIB bagged a Silver Medal in Taekwondo under 30 kgs weight in U-14 girls category in CBSE North Zone Tournament held at Scholars Public School, Rajpura from October 8, 2017 to October 11, 2017.

Amey Goyal of class 3F bagged First position with 4/4 points and got a trophy in U-9 category in UT Open Chandigarh Chess Championship held at St Xavier’s Sr. Secondary School, Sector -44 Chandigarh on May 7, 2017 and May 8, 2017.

Our school Girls team comprising of Mannat Brar(XI), Tahira(XI) and Suhani Makkar(XI) bagged Bronze Medal in U-19 category in Inter School UT Squash tournament 2017-18 held at GMHS 43 on November 1, 2017.

Our school boys Tennis Team comprising of Uddayvir Singh, Gurustat Singh, Chirag Malhotra and Anurab Singh bagged a Bronze Medal in U-17 category in CBSE North Zone II Tennis Tournament held at Mount Carmel School from September 27, 2017 to September 30, 2017.

Diya Negi of class VIII bagged a Silver Medal in under 60 kg weight category in Inter School Boxing tournament held by Education Department Chandigarh at S.D. Public School, sector -32 Chandigarh from November 8,2017 to Nov 10, 2017.

Kairvi of class VIII won a Gold medal in the State Karate Championship held at KBDAV sector -7 Chandigarh on November 26,2017.

Vrinda Rana of Class IX C bagged two Gold medals in U15 Girls Singles and Doubles category, a Silver medal in U17 Girls Doubles , a Bronze medal in U17 Girls Singles in Chandigarh Badminton State Championship held at Shivalik Public School, Sector 41 Chandigarh from October 30, 2017 to November 2, 2017. She was declared Player Of the Tournament.

Shaurya Sood (Class VI), Nitima (Class VII) and Nishtha Goel (Class VII) participated in the State Level Painting Competition on enegry saving organised by BBMB. Nitima Garg bagged the 3rd Position and a cash prize of Rs 10,000/-. Nishtha Goel bagged the consolation prize of Rs 5000/-. All the three participants got a cash prize of Rs 2000, as a prize to be in the first 50 entries of the state.

Shaurya Sood (6B), Nishtha Goel (7G) and Nitima Garg (7D) of our School have been selected for State level painting competition on energy saving organised by BBMB. They will be going for the competition on November 14, 2017 at Indradhanush auditorium.
