Sports Achievements

Charvi Saxena of class IX-A secured the Fourth Position in AITA U-16 Girls Tennis Championship held in April, 2010.

Saumya Saxena of class VII-A bagged the First Position in AITA-U-12 Tennis Championship held in April, 2010.

Jaskeerat Singh Ahluwalia of Class IV-C bagged the First Position in U-10 Boys Category of Chandigarh Open Chess Challenge securing 5.5 out of 8 points. He also stood 13th in the open category in which 87 participants had competed. Jashan Khurana of Class V stood 27th in this category.

Udai Yashvir Singh of Class IV-D bagged the Second Position in Chandigarh State Taekwondo Championship.

Vinay Pratap Singh Bal of Class V bagged the Second Position in Double Sculls event in Chandigarh State Sub-Junior Rowing Championship.

Jashan Khurana of Class V and Jaskeerat Ahluwalia of Class IV bagged the First Position in U-12 First Chandigarh Chess Championship 2010 held on 25th & 26th December, 2010.

Shubhangi Jindal of Class IV won two silver medals along with a trophy in the 23rd Chandigarh State Table Tennis Championship organized by Chandigarh T.T. Association.

In the same championship, Lovenish Jindal of of Class VII-C bagged a Bronze Medal in the Individual Cadet event.

Parul Singh of Class V-C has won a Bronze Medal in U.T. Inter School Taekwondo Competition in the 38-40 weight category.

Karan Kanwar of Class III bagged the Bronze Medal in the 3rd Haryana State Choi Kwang Do Martial Art Competition for U-10 Boys.

Ishita of Class V won a Bronze Medal each in Badminton Singles and Doubles categories in Chandigarh State Badminton Championship hosted by Chandigarh Badminton Association held on 24th to 29th November, 2010.

Aayush Sikka of Class V represented Haryana State in the U-14 North Zone Inter State Cricket Tournament held at New Delhi on 21st November, 2010.

The cricket team of DPS Chandigarh has bagged the First Position in Inter DPS North Zone Cricket Tournament held at DPS Bathinda in October, 2010.

Sachit Malhotra of Class VII has won the Annies Under 14 title in Lawn Tenis held from 15th to 17th October, 2010.

Shivin Sardana of Class III has bagged the First Prize in Panchkula District Table Tennis Championship in the U-10 category.

Shubhangi of Class IV-C has bagged the Cadets’ Girls Singles Title in the NPS Chandigarh State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament held in October, 2010.
