Sports Achievements

Uddayvir Singh Of class IV-D won the Runners up trophy under 10 category of Lawn Tennis Tournament organized at YMCA sector 11 Chandigarh from 13thOct. To 15th Oct. 2012.

Shubham Mittal of class IX-G bagged gold medal in District Choi Kwang Do Championship 2012-13.

The students of our school participated in Chandigarh Administration Swimming Championship held from 26th to 28th June, 2012. The following is the list of winners :-

• Khushnoor Kaur Walia of VII-H secured first position in 50 mtrs Breast Stroke. She also secured second position in Back Stroke and third position in Free Style.
• Aatishya of Class VIII-A secured third position in 100 mtrs Back Stroke.
• Annwesh Das of Class X-C secured third position in 50 mtrs Butterfly Stroke.
• Dhruv of Class III-A secured third position in50 mtrs freestyle and 100 mtrs freestyle.

Aishwarya Aggarwal earned a black belt in black belt test conducted by Chi Kwang Do Martial Art Federation India at Ramgaria Bhawan, Chandigarh.

Pranav Chopra of Class IV-D won First prize in Manav Mangal Total Tennis Tournament in Under 10 Boys category held at Mohali from 13th April to 15th April, 2012.

Jaskeerat Singh of Class VI-C stood First in U-14 in B.D. Aggarwal Memorial Ambala Open Chess Tournament held at Congress Bhawan, Ambala Cantt. on 7th and 8th April, 2012.

Jaskeerat Singh of Class VI-C stood second in U-17 Chess Championship held on 5th and 6th April in Chandigarh.

Uddayvir Singh of Class IV-D won the runners up trophy in Swami Ram Tirtha School, Mohali Total Tennis Tournament held from 31st March to 2nd April, 2012 in the U-10 category.

Lakshay Sethi of Class X-A participated in Cycling State Championship hosted by Chandigarh Amateur Cycling Association. He secured the following positions :-

1) Second position in Track Time Trial Event

2) Third position in Scratch Race Track

3) Second position in 2 lap XC – MTB Race

Sahishnu Sharma of Class VII-B the First Position in AKSIPS Total Tennis Tournament U-12 Boys category held at Total Tennis Academy, Phase II, Mohali from 6th April to 8th April, 2012.

Jaskeerat Singh of Class VI-C bagged the First Position in U-11 category and Fourth Position in U-19 Category of Chess Championship organized by Chandigarh Chess Association. He also bagged the Second Position and a cash prize of Rs. 1000/- in the U-11 category and Eighteenth Position out of 216 players in the open category of Naurang Memorial FIDE Rating Chess Tennis – North Zone.

Mishika Batra of Class V-E bagged the Third position in Swimming State Championships under-10 category held at sector 23A, Chandigarh.

Radhika Katyal of class 3C  won a Bronze Medal in Dance Sports in MINI OLYMPICS 2012.

Sabrang Sandal of class VII G bagged the First Position in the under-12 and under-14 category of AITA Doubles Talent Series held in June 2012.

Charvi Saxena of Class IX bagged a Silver Medal in 56th National Games held at Pune from 6th January, 2011 to 15th January, 2011.
