Sports Achievements

Jaskeerat Singh (VIII-C) bagged the First position and a cash prize of Rs. 1800 in the Second Millennium Chess Tournament,2013 at the Millennium School, Sector-67,Mohali in April,2013.

Jaskeerat Singh (VIII-C) secured Tenth place on merit list in which he scored 7 points out of 9 rounds in the Imperia Structures All India Fide Rating Chess Tournament at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, India Gate, New Delhi from 21st to 24th March,2014.

Jaskeerat Singh (VIII-C) bagged the First position in Under-14 boys category & also ranked 22nd with 8 points out of 10 rounds in 12th Parsvnath Delhi International Grandmaster Chess tournament,2014 at Ludlow Castle Sports Complex, Civil Lines, Delhi, India from 13th to 16th January,2104.

Anurag Kaushik (X-B) bagged a Silver medal in mass completing laps in best timing which was organised by Chandigarh Amateur Cycling Association on 18th May,2014 at Sukhna Lake.

The following children won prizes in Rink Race 1 & 2 which was held at Manav mangal School,Sector 11,Panchkula between 17th & 18th May,2014.
1. Nadiya Bansal (VI-B) bagged I Position in rink Race 1 & 2.
2. Saachi (V-E) bagged a Bronze medal in Road Race.
3. Tarannum Bhandari (VI-B) bagged a Bronze medal in Rink Race 2.
4. Aryan Bhandari of class II A bagged silver medal in Rink Race 2.

Turag Chawla (IV-C) bagged the Runners Up trophy in the Paragoan Total Tennis Championship in the Under-10 Boys category.

Jaskeerat Singh (VIII-C) secured 13th position(out of 462 participants) and was adjudged best player (Chess) in the U-13 Boys category.He improved his ELO rating by 20 points (1552 from 1532). He also received a cash prize of Rs. 7000 with a trophy and a certificate when he participated in the NHPC.FIDE rated tournament from 15th to 18th May,2014 in Delhi.

Ishika Bansal (V D) won a Gold medal in the 11th National Games in Chi Kwang Do Federation of India from 25th to 27th April,2014.

Vedika Malhotra (III E) bagged First position in Rink Race I & Second position in Rink Race II in the Ist St. Soldier’s School Open Speed Skating Championship, 2014, in association with Rolling Tigers, held on 21st & 23rd February,2014 at St. Soldiers School, Sector 16, Panchkula.

Aditya Goyal of Class II-A won bronze medal in the under-14 category in Taekwando Championship, 2014 which was held at Blue Bird High School,sector 16, Panchkula on 27th April,2014.

Jaskeerat Singh of Class VIII-C stood 5th in 25th Chandigarh Chess Championship in the senior category held on 24th to 27th April,2014.

Sahishnu Sharma of IX-G secured 2nd position in All India Tennis Association Championship Series in the under-14 category in Amritsar from 2nd to 5th MAy,2014.

Ishita of Class IX-H bagged the First position in Under-15 Singles and Second position in Under-17 Singles in Tricity Li-ning junior/sub junior Talent Hunt Badminton Tournament held at Sports Complex, Sector 42, Chandigarh from 16th to 20th April,2014.

Mrinank of Class III-E bagged a Silver medal in his debut Taekwondo Championship held at Stepping Stones School, Sector 38, Chandigarh on 30th March, 2014.

Sugandha of Class III-E won a Silver medal in the Inter-Club Taekwondo Championship held at Stepping Stones School, Sector 38, Chandigarh on 29th March, 2014.
