Sports Achievements

Our school badminton team comprising of Ishita(XIE), Simran Kaur(XIIA), Mannat Brar(X D), Anna Sharma(IXF) and Japreet Kaur(XA) bagged Bronze medal in U19 Girls category in U.T. Inter School Badminton Championship held at Shivalik Public School from September 30, 2016 to October 4, 2016.

Nadiya Bansal of class VIIIB bagged two Gold Medals in North India Open Speed Skating Championship organised by Roller Hawks and Stateland Club from October 7,2016 to October 8,2016

Saachi of class VIIE bagged Two Gold Medals in U14 competition North India Open Speed Skating Championship held at D.A.V School Sector-15 Chandigarh on October 7,2016 and October 8,2016.

Uddayvir Singh of class VIII D won U16 Singles and Doubles title and U14 Runners-up in AITA TS Tournament held at Chandigarh Club from September 26,2016 to September 30,2016.

We take pride in sharing with everyone about the latest laurel which has been brought to the School by our budding Badminton players- Ishita (XI-E) and Simran (XII-B), who have won the National Inter DPS Badminton Tournament 2016, held at DPS Panipat Refinery from 5th November- 7th November 2016. Ishita(XIE) and Simran(XIIB) won Bronze medal in doubles. Ishita(XIE) won Gold medal in Singles and was also declared The Best Player of the tournament.

Arshiya of class IIID won 2 Gold Medals in Rink 4 and Road Race and One Silver Medal in Rink 5 in Inter School Skating Competition in U-11 category held at Skating Rink Sector 10 Chandigarh from September 1, 2016 to September 11,2016. She also qualified for SGFI to be held at Karnataka.

Himanshika Sehgal of class VIIIF won The Tricity Golf Tournament held at Panchkula Golf Club on September 18, 2016.

Nadiya Bansal of class- VIIIB won 3 Gold Medals in R3, R4 and R5 and a Group Championships Award in Rolling Tigers Open Speed Skating Carnival 2016 held at Blue Bird High School Sector 16 Panchkula on September 24,2016 and September 25,2016

Nadiya Bansal of class- VIIIB won Silver medal in Inter School Skating Tournament held at Skating Rink sector-10 on September 6, 2016.

Shaurya Raj of class XIID bagged Second Position in Table Tennis Chandigarh 2nd Ranking Tournament in Junior Category held at sector-23 hall from September 2,2016 to September 4,2016.

Dhruv Kundrai of class VIID won Bronze Medal and a cash prize of Rs 3000/- in All India Jeevan Singh Virk Memorial Roller Skating Championship held at Kurukshetra from August 19,2016 to August 22,2016.

Dhruv Kundrai of class VII D won a Silver Medal in All India Open Gold Cup Roller Skating Championship 2016 held at Skating Rink Sector-10 from May 4, 2016 to May 7, 2016.

The School Swimming Team brought laurels to school by winning various medals under different categories in U.T. Inter School Swimming Tournament held from September 2, 2016 to September 5,2016.

Aarav Joshi of class VII got First Position in U14 category in Lawn Tennis tournament organised at Lake Sports Complex, Chandiagrh from April 16,2016 to April 16, 2016.
