Achievements

Our school bagged the Third Position in the State Level Science Exhibition 2011 organized by State Institute of Education, U.T. Chandigarh. The team comprised of Vimarsh, Vrinda, Priyadarshini, Ameekul and Aakash of Class X. A cash prize of Rs. 1100/- was also awarded to the school for this achievement.

Pranav Langer of Class XI has been selected by the Ministry of Science and Technology, New Delhi to prepare a Science Project / Model to be displayed at the State Level Exhibition Centre. He has received an amount of Rs. 5000/- as a grant for the same.

Nehmat Gondara of Class X-E bagged the Sixth Position in the State Science Seminar 2011 organized by the State Institute of Education, Sec 32, Chandigarh. She has qualified for a presentation at the National Level.

Siddharth Mittal of Class XII-C (2010-2011) topped in the Tricity in the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) for Chartered Accountants held in May, 2011.

Gurtej Singh Sohi of Class X and Varunveer of Class XI bagged the Second Position in the Inter DPS Quiz Competition held at DPS Manali on 16th July, 2011.

Karman Kaur of Class X and Jannat Brar and Megha of Class IX bagged the First Position in I.J. Dewan Memorial Educational Workshop organized by Department of Anatomy at PGIMER on 22nd & 23rd July, 2011.

In the same event, Gurvishvraj Singh of Class X bagged the Second Position.

Jaskeerat Singh Ahluwalia of Class V-C has bagged the 25th Rank in the Asia Open Chess Championship.

Shubhra Koser of Class V-H bagged the First Position in the 47th Akhil Bhartiya Vishnu Digambar Music Competition.

Jasmine Punia of Class IX-A has bagged the Second Position in the 16th All India Inter DPS Children’s Art Exhibition organized by DPS Ranipur, Hardwar. She has received a cash prize of Rs. 300/-.

Our school has bagged the First Position in the National Level of ‘Umang Utsav 2011’ Inter DPS Folk Dance Competition held at DPS Saket. 78 Delhi Public Schools from all over the country participated in the event.

Our school has secured the Fifth Position in ‘Decryptonite’ – an Inter DPS IT Competition in which 65 Delhi Public Schools from all over the world participated.

Madhav Ginoria of Class VII and Tanaya Ginoria of Class V bagged the Gold Medal in the 5th All India Dance Sports Championship. The brother-sister duo have bagged this position second time in a row in the competition in the Junior Latin Dance Category where more than 80 couple dancers from all over the country had participated.

Divya Goel of Class VI-H bagged a Consolation Prize in State Level Painting Competition organized by Bhakra Beas Management Board.

Shubra Koser of Class VI-H has cleared the Zonal Level of Bal Shree Awards for Dance.

Aamrapali Mahajan of Class V-H bagged the Second Position in Chandigarh’s Got Talent Singing Competition winning a cash prize of Rs. 1500/- along with a trophy and an appreciation certificate.
