Achievements

Kavya Aggarwal and Asees Babbar from Class VII secured Second position in the Best Out Of Waste Monument held at St. John’s High School on May 19, 2015. Aastha Rawat and Gaganpreet from Class VIII also secured Second position in the same event.

Jagjit Singh Jolly (Class XII B) and Rakshit Sharma (Class XII D) secured First position in a Banner Making Competition held at St. John’s High School on May 19,2015.

Our School team bagged Second position in Inter-DPS Hindustani Vocal Music Festival- 2015 (Group song) at DPS, Amritsar on 16th May 2015.

Arnav Aggarwal of Class – VI E bagged the Runners-up trophy in U-12 Boys category in ‘2nd Fire an Ace’ Tennis Tournament held at Press Club Sector -27,Chandigarh from 11th to 12th April 2015.

Karamveer  Singh of Class- VE won Runner’s up Trophy in Root Tennis Championship in  U-10 Boys category held at Modern Ways High School,Sector-29 Chandigarh from 21st to 23rd March 2015.

Saachi Bagri of Class- VIE bagged  Bronze Medal in Road Race and Rink Race in Open Speed Skating Carnival held at Dikshant International School on 11th and 12th April 2015.

Jaskeerat Singh of Class- IX won U-17 Chess Championship 2015-16 held at St Xavier’s Sr. Sec. School on 18th and 19th April 2015. He will represent Chandigarh in Nationals to be held in Karnataka on 2nd October 2015.

Saachi Bagri of Class- VIE won the Bronze Medal in Microsoft Skating Carnival held at Skating Ring sector-10, Chandigarh on 25th and 26th April 2015.

Uddayvir Singh of class- VII D won the Winners Trophy in AITA Tennis Tournament in the U-14 doubles category held at Karnal on 23rd March 2015.

Uddayvir Singh of class- VII D won the Singles Runners-up Trophy in AITA Tennis Tournament in the U-14 category held at Karnal on 9th March 2015.

Chahat Kalsi of DPS Chandigarh has been awarded the esteemed title of ASSETNATIONAL SCHOLAR for her amazing performance in the Duke TIP ASSET Talent Search. 8000 7th and 8th graders participated in this Talent Search in 2014-15 from India and UAE. Chahat is among the 347 toppers who have been awarded with this title.

Delphy Rai (Class XI) was declared the Regional Brain Bee Champion-2015. She will now represent at National Level in April 2015.

Apala Mandal of Class IX won the First prize in Senior Category of All India Scholastic Writing Awards Competition organised by Scholastic India for her story on the topic,”When a friend betrays……………..” .She was invited to Bangalore for felicitation & received a copy of the anthology, a certificate of merit and a tablet.

Drawn from over 2000 manuscripts, her story has been published in a book titled,“For Kids,By Kids”. 

Our students bagged several prizes in the Essay Writing Competition during the Chandigarh Literary Festival 2014.

Shreya of class- VIII F bagged a Bronze medal each in 100 mts and 200 mts in UT Inter-school Athletic meet held at sector-7 Sports Complex from 14th to 16th January 2015.
