Achievements

Shivin Sardana of class -VIIID secured Third position both in U-15 Singles and U-15 Doubles in Chandigarh State Table Tennis tournament held at Table Tennis Hall sector 23 , Chandigarh from December 12,2015 to December 14, 2015.

Sukhman Dhillon (Class XI D) was adjudged Second Runners-Up in the Inter-Zonal Declamation Contest on ‘Be A Gift To The World’ organised by Rotary International District 3080 on 10th December 2015.

Our school team comprising of Apala Mandal (Class X) and Aachman Shekhar (Class XI) secured Second position in the Nationals of CBSE Cryptic Crossword Contest 2015 held on 12th and 13th December at New Delhi.They won a Runners-Up Trophy and a cash prize of Rs.15,000.

In Annual Inter-DPS Environment Festival-2015, hosted by DPS Mathura Road, our students Jappreet Kaur and Kshitiz Bansal (Class IX) secured Second position in Tree-Caza category. Ruheen kaur (Class VII), Aditya Prasad (Class VII) and Anshika Saxena (Class VIII) received ‘Special Appreciation’ in Ecozoid Exhibition.

Jasman Singh Bedi (Class X B) was awarded ‘Special Mention’ as a representative of Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff in WHSR (White House Situation Room) for participatiing in EMANATE Model United Nations Conference 2015, held from 4th to 6th December, 2015 at MGN Public School, Jalandhar.

Daksh Hooda (Class X B ) an INSPIRE Awardee participated in the National Level Science Exhibition at IIT Delhi. His project ‘Head Movement Controlled Wheel Chain’ received special appreciation for which he received  a Certificate,Trophy and cash award of Rs. 5000.

Jaskeerat of class 9E won cash prize of Rs. 1000 and secured 24th position in chess tournament in Delhi on December 12,2015.

Pranav (Class X) and Kshitiz (Class IX) secured Third position in 43rd State Level Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition 2015 held on 30th November.(Theme: Agriculture and Food Safety). They received a certificate and cash award of Rs. 2100/-.

Krishneet Kaur (Class V A) got a Consolation Prize for the Best Out Of Waste Competition held in the State Library, Sector 17 Chandigarh on 26th November 2015.

Mehar(Class V), Medha (Class VI), Soumil (Class VII) and Hirdae (Class VIII) stood First in their respective categories in the Netchamps Quiz Competition organised by Connect Broadband in association with Hindustan Times on 30^th November at Delhi Public School,Chandigarh .

Dhruv Kundrai (Class VI D) secured All India Rank 44 in the First Level of Unified Cyber Olympiad and has qualified for the Second level.

He secured State Rank 8, Zonal Rank 25 and All India Rank 177 in ‘Tallentex 2016’ Examination.He also received a Cash Prize of Rs 2000/-.

He  also secured School rank 1 , Stae rank 4 and  International rank 45 in the First Level of National Cyber Olympiad and has qualified for the Second level. He received a Medal and a Certificate of Excellence for the same.

Arnav Gupta (Class VII) got International Rank 206, State rank 25 and School rank 3 in the First round of National Cyber Olympiad–SOF -15th. He won a Medal and received a Certificate of Excellence for the same. He has qualified for the Second round.

Soumil Arora (Class VII D) got International rank 137, State rank 12 and School rank 1 in the First round of National Cyber Olympiad.He received a Medal and Certificate of Excellence for the same.He has qualified for the Second round of NCO.

Gayatri (Class IV G) got Silver Medal for International English Olympiad for the year 2014.

Jivaj Chawla of class VC won the Boys U-13 Runner Up title at Mount Carmel Total Tennis Tournament held from November 6,2015 to November 9,2015 at Mount Carmel School Sector-47 Chandigarh
