Achievements

In the Annual Inter-DPS Science Fest held on 23rd January 2017 at DPS Expressway, Gautam BudhNagar, our team comprising of Tanishq Singh Makkar and Bianca Arora bagged the Third position in the event ‘Action-Reaction: Role play.

Twenty students from our School participated in on the spot painting competition, “Colour Splash”,organised by times NIE. Samridhi Arora (Class VI-A) bagged the Second prize in the same. She received a gift voucher of Rs 2100/-.

Nishtha Goel (Class VII-G) participated in a painting competition conducted by PCRA. Her painting has been selected in the top 100 paintings. She will be going for National level competition scheduled on 26th December 2017, New Delhi.

Our school Girls team comprising of Mannat Brar(XI), Tahira(XI) and Suhani Makkar(XI) bagged Bronze Medal in U-19 category in Inter School UT Squash tournament 2017-18 held at GMHS 43 on November 1, 2017.

Our school boys Tennis Team comprising of Uddayvir Singh, Gurustat Singh, Chirag Malhotra and Anurab Singh bagged a Bronze Medal in U-17 category in CBSE North Zone II Tennis Tournament held at Mount Carmel School from September 27, 2017 to September 30, 2017.

Diya Negi of class VIII bagged a Silver Medal in under 60 kg weight category in Inter School Boxing tournament held by Education Department Chandigarh at S.D. Public School, sector -32 Chandigarh from November 8,2017 to Nov 10, 2017.

Kairvi of class VIII won a Gold medal in the State Karate Championship held at KBDAV sector -7 Chandigarh on November 26,2017.

Our School was awarded the ‘Best Choreography Award’ at the Nationals of Annual Inter DPS Dance Festival-2017.

Our students participated in the Inter-DPS Environment Fest held on 18th November 2017 by DPS Mathura Road, New Delhi and won the following prizes:

“Nature on canvas” (Consolation Prize)- Nitima Garg (Class VIII)

Envirno-Toon Comic Strips (3rd Prize)- Devika Sood and Selena (Class VIII)

“Showcase-A short film (3rd prize)- Shubhankar (Class XI), Bikramjit (Class XI), Aditya Prasad (Class IX) and Jeevant Rajeev (Class IX)

Vrinda Rana of Class IX C bagged two Gold medals in U15 Girls Singles and Doubles category, a Silver medal in U17 Girls Doubles , a Bronze medal in U17 Girls Singles in Chandigarh Badminton State Championship held at Shivalik Public School, Sector 41 Chandigarh from October 30, 2017 to November 2, 2017. She was declared Player Of the Tournament.

Aryan Nadaan of class VIIIH bagged a Bronze medal in Taekwondo 5th Tricity Taekwondo Championship 2017 held at Shaheed Udham Singh Bhawan Sector 44 Chandigarh on October 10, 2017.

Aryan Nadaan of class VIIIH bagged a Gold and a Silver medal in Taekwondo 4th Open Inter School Championship held at Stepping Stone School Sector 38 Chandigarh on November 4, 2017.

Gauri Siddna of class VIIIF bagged a Gold and a Silver medal in Taekwondo 4th Open Inter School Championship held at Stepping Stone School Sector 38 Chandigarh from November 3, 2017 to November 4, 2017.

Uddayvir Singh of class IXC won the Runners-up(Doubles) Trophy in the AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament held at Jassowal, Ludhiana from October 23,2017 to October 27, 2017.

Uddayvir Singh of class IXC won the Runners-up(Singles) Trophy in the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament held at Jassowal, Ludhiana from October 16,2017 to October 20, 2017.
