Achievements

  1. The 9th State level exhibition and project competition under INSPIRE Awards-MANAK Scheme was organised at the State Council of Education Research and Training, on January 9 & January 10, 2020.Four of our students, Paras Gupta (Class VI), Maanik Mahajan (Class VII), Aryan Singla (Class IX) and Tanishq Mittal (Class X), received the INSPIRE Award of Rs. 10,000/- each to prepare models/projects which they presented in the exhibition.

    Aryan Singla (Class IX) has been selected for the National Level Exhibition and Project Competition 2019-2020 under the INSPIRE Awards MANAK Scheme.

  2. In the State level camp of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan ( VVM ), Archit Sinha (Class VII ) qualified for the next level and will now attend the National Camp.

  3. In a Card Making Competition organised under Hubs of learning at GHS 46-C on 18th December, 2019,four of our students participated. Brahmjot Kaur (V-A) and Jinal (V-G) bagged 1st and 3rd positions respectively in junior group and Maryam Iqbal bagged the 2nd position in the senior group.

  4. Our School team comprising of Mehreen Brar (VIII-G), Devansh Aggarwal (Class VII) and Aarav (Class VII) won the 1st prize in the Inter-school Science Quiz Competition held at GMSSS, Manimajra on 22nd November, 2019.

  5. Siddhant Agrawal (Class VIII) bagged First Prize in 47th State Level Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition held at SCERT,32 from November 27 to November 30, 2019 under sub theme Future transport and communication. He also received a cash award of Rs 5100. he will now be representing for Nationals.

  6. Our team comprising of Jatin Saharan and Anubhav Sihag (Junior team) bagged the First position in 27th Regional Childrens’ Science Congress (Project title: Using Blue and Green Dustbins- An achievable dream for clean India) held on November 25,2019. These students will now participate in the National Childrens’ Science Congress to be held in Bengaluru.

  7. Rajiv Gandhi Model United Nations was held in Delhi from October 18 to October 20. The following students were awarded Certificates of Excellence:

    Saanya Khunger (Class XII)

    Simar Class XI)

    Rishabh Jain (Class XII)

    Gurkirat Singh and Herschelle Gill were also awarded a cash prize of Rs. 5000.

  8. Our school students brought laurels by bagging many awards in different events in State Championship of Roller Skating and Hockey organised by Chandigarh Administration at Sector 10, Skating Rink from October 4, 2019 to October 5, 2019.

  9. Our school cricket team bagged second position in UT Inter-school Competition in U-17 category held at DAV Public School,sector 8 Chandigarh from October 22, 2019 to November 1, 2019. The team comprises of Harshit Gupta, Wah Pratap Singh, Tejasveer Singh Saron, Abhikaran Singh Sidhu, Rhitwicq Additya Sharma, Aryan Vikram, Harsimar Singh,Aditya Giri, Ambuj Sharma, Param Shaurya Veer Nikhanj, Vishav Vashishla, Tejveer Singh, Kshitiz Malhotra, Shiven Aggarwal,Smarth Arora, Manhar Bawa.

  10. Arnav Khushwaha won First Prize in Madan Bhandari Memorial Asian Amateur Chess Championship 2019 in U-12 category in Kathmandu Nepal from November 8,2015 to November 15, 2019.
