Achievements

Malav Agarwal, Class 9 F, has made a remarkable achievement by qualifying the 67th National Shooting Championship Competition held at New Delhi from 22 December 2024 to 5 January 2025 and earning the prestigious title of ISSF Shooter. His dedication, hard work, and passion for shooting have propelled him to national recognition, making him a shining star in the sporting arena.

Bhavin Kalia of class VIII-D won 3rd prize in The Smash Championship 2024 organized at Table Tennis Hall sector 23 on 29.12.2024.

Cherrish Chhabra of class XII-D won silver at The Smash Table Tennis Championship organised by Ujjivan finance bank held on 29th Dec,24

Lakshya Pant, Class IV-G participated in basketball match where his team won silver medal. He also won a gold medal for maximum baskets in match. He won a silver medal in Basket Shooting competition. The event was organised by TIDA sports on 29-30th December, 2024 at GMADA, Sports Complex, Mohali.

Lakshya Pant of 4 G participated in 4 km Marathon organised by Technico (an ITC Ltd. Group Company ) on 25th December 2024 @ Sukhna Lake.
He was 7th overall among 80 participants and 1st in kids category.

Risham kaur guron,Class XII E, has come 4th in the Junior Women’s category and won the bronze medal in Women’s category in the 67th National Shotgun Shooting Championship held from 14 to 19th Jan at New Delhi.

Our students have shown outstanding performance in 5 days Inter School Athletics competition 2024-2025 conducted by UT Education Department, they bagged 34 medals in total comprising of 18 Gold medals, 4 silver medals and 12 bronze medals through out the competition. Also the Girls Team of our school has won the Overall Championship trophy.

of GERMAN language have passed the International FIT 1 Exam,conducted by Goethe Institute, New Delhi, with flying colours and Manoviraj has topped the Chandigarh Centre in the same by scoring 56/60.

Deelisha Trikha of class IX-E, was awarded the Consolation prize in Declamation Competition organised by Bangiya Sanskritik Sammilani, held on National Youth Day, 12th January, 2025 at Banga Bhawan, Sector-35-C, Chandigarh.

Avijit Saini of Class VII-H stood THIRD in the online category of “Tagebuch” in an array of International Inter-School German Competition named ‘Kreativ: The German Linguistic ‘ was held on 08-11-2024 by DL DAV Model School, Pitampura in collaboration with Goethe-Institute New Delhi.

Suhani Sharma, a Class XII student and Head Girl, has achieved a remarkable feat by winning a spot at NCERT’s prestigious Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshini 2024. Her innovative creation, Ecologs—a renewable, eco-friendly cremation log made from cow dung and shredded coconut shells—was selected among 185 winning entries nationwide. Under the able guidance of our science faculty, she improvised the design of the machinery to accelerate drying, efficient combustion and minimize smoke. RBVP 2024 is being held at Sports University, Sonipat, Haryana from 26th Dec to 31st Dec, where thousands of students visit daily to see the country’s most innovative projects.
This achievement follows her first-place win at the State-level Children Science Exhibition (RSBVP) held in Dec 2023. The National Children Science Exhibition selection process involves nearly a million students advancing through school, block, district, and state levels. The final selection is based on the evaluation of research papers and video presentations of the best state-level entries.
We encourage students to start preparing now—the call for entries begins in September. Who knows? The next big innovation could be yours!

Rynaa Malhan of class 6 F secured 1st Rank in Punjab State Level camp in Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan exam held at IIT Ropar on 22nd Dec,2024. There were around 20 participants from all over Punjab. Earlier, she topped SAS Nagar district for the same.The day long camp included practical exam, viva, puzzle solving and Audio visual round. She was awarded with a trophy , certificate and cash prize of Rs 5000 by Director IIT Mr Rajiv Ahuja. She will represent Punjab at national level to be held in May 2025.

Aashita of Class V has won Performer Award in the 21st International SIP Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Contest organised by SIP Academy at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, Kolkata (West Bengal) on: 10th November 2024.

Arjun Kansal of Class 4-C has won the following medals in CBSE North Zone-II Roller Skating Championship-2024 organised at OPS Vidya Mandir, Ambala from 20th September to 23rd September 2024,in Inline U-9 boys category:-
1.1000 meters- Gold Medal
2.1 lap road race- Gold Medal

Samisha Taneja of class IX D has done us proud by winning Silver Medal in High Jump event at North Zone Junior Athletics Tournament at the iconic JawaharLal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. She has qualified for the Nationals.
