Achievements

Jaskeerat Singh Ahluwalia of Class III-C bagged a Bronze Medal in U-14 Boys Chess (Individual Event) in the Inter DPS Multi Sports Meet held at Hissar in October 2010.

We have bagged the overall Third Prize in Chess in the All India Inter DPS Multi Sports Meet held at DPS Hissar.

Our players were :-

• Jaskeerat Singh Ahluwalia – Class IV-C
• Jashan Khurana – Class V-A

Ruban Deol of X-D participated in Inter School National Shooting Competition held at Fardabad and won the following medals :-

• Gold medal in State Junior 10 mtrs. Air Pistol
• Gold medal in 22 Sports Pistol – Women’s event
• Silver medal in 10 mt. Air Pistol – Senior Women’s event

She was also declared the Best Shooter in the Women’s Category.

Akshay of Class VII is representing Chandigarh State in U-14 Football National Championship at Uttarakhand held in October, 2010.

It is a matter of great pride that our swimmers have been selected as part of UT Swimming team to participate in Junior National Aquatic Championship to be held at Bangalore.

Saumya Saxena of Class VII-A bagged the Girls U-12 Runner’s Up Title in AITA Talent Series Tournament in July 2010.

Charvi Saxena and Saumya Saxena bagged the Girls U-18 Doubles Runner’s Up Title in Amul AITA Talent Series in June 2010.

Saumya Saxena of Class VII-A clinched the Girls U-14 Runners-up Title in All India Tennis Association Talent Series in June 2010.

Charvi Saxena of class IX-A secured the Fourth Position in AITA U-16 Girls Tennis Championship held in April, 2010.

Saumya Saxena of class VII-A bagged the First Position in AITA-U-12 Tennis Championship held in April, 2010.

Jaskeerat Singh Ahluwalia of Class IV-C bagged the First Position in U-10 Boys Category of Chandigarh Open Chess Challenge securing 5.5 out of 8 points. He also stood 13th in the open category in which 87 participants had competed. Jashan Khurana of Class V stood 27th in this category.

Udai Yashvir Singh of Class IV-D bagged the Second Position in Chandigarh State Taekwondo Championship.

Vinay Pratap Singh Bal of Class V bagged the Second Position in Double Sculls event in Chandigarh State Sub-Junior Rowing Championship.

Jashan Khurana of Class V and Jaskeerat Ahluwalia of Class IV bagged the First Position in U-12 First Chandigarh Chess Championship 2010 held on 25th & 26th December, 2010.

Shubhangi Jindal of Class IV won two silver medals along with a trophy in the 23rd Chandigarh State Table Tennis Championship organized by Chandigarh T.T. Association.

In the same championship, Lovenish Jindal of of Class VII-C bagged a Bronze Medal in the Individual Cadet event.

Our school also bagged various medals in individual and team events :
