National Level Events

Richa Verma (IX E), Yoogesha Arora (IX E) and Yashraj (IX A) have been selected to participate in the 58th National School Games of Chess (U-17), which will be held at Thane, Maharashtra from 22nd Dec 2012 to 24th Dec, 2012.

Aatishya Sharma of class IX displayed his model in the State Level Science and Environment Exhibition 2012 held in Dec 2012. Earlier, he was winner at  the State Level Exhibition and Project Competition under INSPIRE Award scheme and also represented UT Chandigarh at the 2^nd National Level Exhibition and Project Competition held at New Delhi in October 2012.

Karan Kumar Punj of XI-A was selected to play in the U-17 Indian Cricket Team.

Khushnoor Kaur Walia of Class VII-E bagged Second Position in National Inter-DPS Swimming Competition held at DPS Sonepat in 50m Breast Stroke event.

Our school bagged the First Position in National Inter-DPS Tennis Tournament (Girls Open) 2012 hosted by DPS Chandigarh.

Our school bagged the First Position in National Inter-DPS Tennis Tournament (Boys Open) 2012 held at DPS Sonepat.

Charvi Saxena of Class IX bagged a Silver Medal in 56th National Games held at Pune from 6th January, 2011 to 15th January, 2011.

Our students have won participation in the 56th National Lawn Tennis Championship. The Girls team comprises of Tanya Batra, Saumya Saxena, Abhisha Jindal & Charvi Saxena. Our Boys team comprises of Sachit Malhotra, Santbir Singh, Dhruv Puniani.

Our Badminton team comprising of Mehak Aggarwal and Annie of Class IX and Mannat Brar of Class VI has been selected to participate in National School Games 2012.

Jaskeerat Singh of Class VI-C represented Chandigarh in the U-19 Chess National Championship held at Ajmer in September 2012. He will also participate in the Chess Nationals to be held at Delhi in January 2013.

Jastaran Toor and Khushnoor Kaur Walia have been selected to take part in the National Camp for Swimming.

Annie, Mehak Aggarwal, Paras, Ishaan of Class IX, Jannat Brar of Class X, Sahib Singh of Class XII and Mannat Brar, Ishita and Palak of Class VI have been selected to participate in the Nationals for Badminton.

Sabrang Sandal, Sahishnu Sharma, Santbir Singh, Sachit Malhota, Tanya Batra, Saumya Saxena and Charvi Saxena have been selected to participate in the Nationals of Lawn Tennis to be held at Balewadi, Pune from 18th Dec 2012 to 22nd Dec 2012.

Khushnoor Kaur Walia and Samar Toor participated in Nationals for Swimming at Pune.
