National Level Events

Tushaar Jaggi of class 6A won a silver medal in Rifle Shooting competition and represented state in 62nd National Rifle Shooting Championship in U14 boys category held at Rifle Shooting Range, Hyderabad Central University, Gachibowli, Hyderabad from November 26, 2016 to November 30, 2016.

Our School was awarded the ‘Judges Critical Acclaim Award’ at the Nationals of Annual Inter DPS Dance Festival-2016.

Aishwarya Goyal (IX-H) received the certificate of ‘Best School Entry’ in PCRA National Competition 2016- A painting Competition on the subject ‘Oil & Gas Conservation’ conducted by Ministry of Petroleum & Natural  gas, Government of India.

We take pride in sharing with everyone about the latest laurel which has been brought to the School by our budding Badminton players- Ishita (XI-E) and Simran (XII-B), who have won the National Inter DPS Badminton Tournament 2016, held at DPS Panipat Refinery from 5th November- 7th November 2016. Ishita(XIE) and Simran(XIIB) won Bronze medal in doubles. Ishita(XIE) won Gold medal in Singles and was also declared The Best Player of the tournament.

Aaryan Nagpal (VIII-B) got Zonal Rank 18 in the Second level of NSO (National Science Olympiad). The event was conducted at Kundan International School.

Serat Rana (XII E) has been recognised for superior academic achievement by the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) and has been selected to become a member of the esteemed organization. The Society  recognizes top scholars who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, scholarship and community commitment. The announcement was made by NSHSS Founder and Chairman Claes Nobel, senior member of the family that established the Nobel prizes.

Shivam of Class X H bagged third position in Boys Doubles U-17 category in North Zone Badminton Open tournament  held at Panjab University Chandigarh from  July 6 to July 10, 2016.

Shaurya Raj of Class XII B bagged a Bronze medal in All India Inter DPS Table Tennis tournament held at DPS Navi Mumbai from 7th to 11th May 2016.

Haneesh  Aggarwal (Class XII) topped the Tricity in the AISSCE 2016 (Non-medical) with 98.2% and the JEE Mains 2016..

Pranav Goyal (Class X) topped in the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) stage II in the city by scoring 115.05 marks out of 145.

Raunaq (Class XII D) bagged the Third position in the National Brain Bee Quiz held in Kolkata. He received a trophy, a medal, a certificate and a Sony camera.

Mehreen Brar (Class IV-G) secured International Rank 81 and State Rank 27 in National Science Olympiad. She won a Silver medal for the same. She secured International Rank 110 and State rank 32 in National Cyber Olympiad. She also won a Silver medal for the same.

She secured International rank 8 and State rank 7 in International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO). She got Gold medal and Certificate of Excellence for the same.

Among the ten entries sent for National Level Painting Competition– ‘Japan On Canvas’, Palak Garg (Class VIII-F) received the prize for the ‘Best Painter’ at the National level. She got an appreciation certificate and a medal for the same.

Jasman Singh (Class X B) participated in Indira Gandhi National Model United Nations organised at Lovely Professional University from December 26, 2015 to December 28, 2015. He represented General Martin Dempsey in WHSR and displayed exemplary diplomatic skills and political craft in the committee and was awarded Best Delegate.

Raunaq Sharma won the 9th Chandigarh Regional Brain Bee, a quiz on neurosciences, organised by the Department of Neurology, PGIMER, Chandigarh, in association with the Indian Natiional Brain Bee, the International Brain Bee (IBB) and the Society for Neuroscience (SFN), at Advanced Eye Centre Auditorium , PGIMER on 10th January 2016. He will participate in the National Brain Bee to be held in Kolkata in April 2016.
