  1. Guntas Kaur Sandhu, a Class 9H student of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, is the youngest Indian golfer selected for the 2025 Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific (WAAP). The tournament, organized by Asia- Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC) and The Royal and the Ancient Golf (R&A), will be held from March 6-9, 2025, at Hoiana Shores Golf Club, Vietnam. There are only 6 Indian golfers that are invited to represent India at the Women’s Amateur Asia Pacific . She is in the top 3 golfers to be directly invited from the APGC andThe R&A by the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) .Competing alongside world’s top-ranked amateurs, Guntas’s selection marks a remarkable achievement in her golfing journey.

  2. Success is not just about winning, but about the dedication and effort put into learning. Two brilliant students from Delhi Public School (DPS) have showcased exceptional talent in the field of psychology. Mehar Walia, a Grade XI student, and Shreya, from Grade XII, participated in the prestigious UNI-QUIZ 2024, India’s National Level Online Psychology Quiz. Their remarkable performance not only highlighted their dedication and hard work but also earned them the coveted gold medal and a certificate of excellence.Both students have proven their academic prowess and their deep understanding of psychology, emerging as shining examples of academic excellence. This accomplishment is a proud moment for DPS, and we celebrate their achievement with great joy.

  3. Guntas Kaur Sandhu of 9 H won the IGU All India Girls Golf Championship in category B held at East Point Golf club,Visakhapatnam from 16th December 2024 to 20th December 2024

Malav Agarwal, Class 9 F, has made a remarkable achievement by qualifying the 67th National Shooting Championship Competition held at New Delhi from 22 December 2024 to 5 January 2025 and earning the prestigious title of ISSF Shooter. His dedication, hard work, and passion for shooting have propelled him to national recognition, making him a shining star in the sporting arena.

  5. Risham kaur guron,Class XII E, has come 4th in the Junior Women’s category and won the bronze medal in Women’s category in the 67th National Shotgun Shooting Championship held from 14 to 19th Jan at New Delhi.

  6. Suhani Sharma, a Class XII student and Head Girl, has achieved a remarkable feat by winning a spot at NCERT’s prestigious Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshini 2024. Her innovative creation, Ecologs—a renewable, eco-friendly cremation log made from cow dung and shredded coconut shells—was selected among 185 winning entries nationwide. Under the able guidance of our science faculty, she improvised the design of the machinery to accelerate drying, efficient combustion and minimize smoke. RBVP 2024 is being held at Sports University, Sonipat, Haryana from 26th Dec to 31st Dec, where thousands of students visit daily to see the country’s most innovative projects.
    This achievement follows her first-place win at the State-level Children Science Exhibition (RSBVP) held in Dec 2023. The National Children Science Exhibition selection process involves nearly a million students advancing through school, block, district, and state levels. The final selection is based on the evaluation of research papers and video presentations of the best state-level entries.
    We encourage students to start preparing now—the call for entries begins in September. Who knows? The next big innovation could be yours!

  7. Mahijith Singh Kaura, Class VIII F won Singles and Doubles title 🏆🏆 in Under-14, All India Tennis Championship series held at Jind, Haryana from 30.09.2024 – 03.10.2024. 3rd title in the consecutive week🥇

  8. Aayra of 9G stood first in Chandigarh under-19 girls Chess tournament, held on 10th and 11th August 2024, at Ambedkar Bhavan, sector 37.
    She will represent Chandigarh in National under19 Chess tournament, to be held in September.

  9. Savir Sood of class XD has reached the summit of the Asian rankings being ranked 1st for the month of June. This is a result of his recent triumphs at the Hamdard Squashters Northern Slam 2024, New Delhi in April which was an Asian Junior Super Series Silver Event and at the 14th HCL Indian Junior Open 2024, Indore held in May of this year which was an Asian Junior Super Series Platinum Event. He is ranked 1st with a humongous average of 270 points. We congratulate and wish him success for his future endeavours!

  10. Nitya Gupta of VI-D and Aavya of VI-C participated in the 31st National Children’s Science Congress on 06-07-24 at PEC, Chandigarh. They were felicitated with certificates for their innovative research related to Gluten impact on Human health.

  11. Roohani Jindal  scored 675 marks out of 720 in her NEET exam 2024.
    She has secured AIR 11659.

  12. Mehreen Brar added another feather to Delhi Public School Chandigarh’s cap by scoring 706 marks out of 720 in her NEET exam 2024.
    She has secured AIR 767.
    She has also made us proud by being the school topper of Medical stream for the session 2023-24.

  13. Samisha Taneja of Delhi Public School, Class 9D bags third position in Women’s Chess Championship 2024 conducted by Chandigarh Chess Association on 13th and 14th April 2024. She has been selected to represent Chandigarh in Women’s National Chess Tournament to be held in Tamil Nadu.

  14. Reyansh Sarkar and Aayush Gargi have done Delhi Public School proud.
    Reyansh Sarkar of class 3 and Aayush Gargi of  Grade VII received Tablet PCs for achieving National Rank 3 in NSTSE and National Rank 2 in UIMO respectively
    These exams were conducted by Unified Council in the year 2023-24.

  15. Sherell Chhabra, Class VII A participated in 67th School National games held at Indore (MP) at Emerald Heights School from 10th Jan to 13th Jan’2024 in Under-14 girls Table Tennis Tournament. She also participated in 85th sub-junior and cadet National in Table Tennis at Indore from 16th to 24th Jan 2024.
