Cultural Achievements

Our school has bagged the First Position in the National Level of ‘Umang Utsav 2011’ Inter DPS Folk Dance Competition held at DPS Saket. 78 Delhi Public Schools from all over the country participated in the event.

Our school has secured the Fifth Position in ‘Decryptonite’ – an Inter DPS IT Competition in which 65 Delhi Public Schools from all over the world participated.

Madhav Ginoria of Class VII and Tanaya Ginoria of Class V bagged the Gold Medal in the 5th All India Dance Sports Championship. The brother-sister duo have bagged this position second time in a row in the competition in the Junior Latin Dance Category where more than 80 couple dancers from all over the country had participated.

Divya Goel of Class VI-H bagged a Consolation Prize in State Level Painting Competition organized by Bhakra Beas Management Board.

Shubra Koser of Class VI-H has cleared the Zonal Level of Bal Shree Awards for Dance.

Aamrapali Mahajan of Class V-H bagged the Second Position in Chandigarh’s Got Talent Singing Competition winning a cash prize of Rs. 1500/- along with a trophy and an appreciation certificate.

Deepanshu Mahajan of Class IV-F bagged the First Prize in Chandigarh’s Got Talent Singing Competition. He was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2100/- along with a Trophy and an appreciation certificate.

Gurnoor Singh of Class IV-D has bagged the First Prize in a Fancy Dress Competition held at Anchal International School.

Our school bagged several prizes in various events in the Inter School Competition organized by Moti Ram Arya School Chandigarh. The details are :-

• Paper cutting, folding and pasting : Ganya Ohri (Third Position)
• Dry Flower Arrangement : Gayatri Franklin (First Position)
• Solo Dance Competition Free Style : Madhav Ginoria (Third Position)
• Solo Dance Competition Semi Classical : Sanjali (First Position)
• Mathematics Brain Teaser : Abhishek Punia, Sanchit Bansal (Second Position)
• Solo Bhajan Competition : Samridhi (First Position)

Our school has bagged the Overall First Position in Fanta Fiesta 2011, an inter-school cultural festival in which more than 64 schools of the Tricity participated. The school also received a cash prize of Rs. 10000/-

Rig Malik of Class VII bagged a consolation prize in Inter-School Declamation Competition organized by Chandigarh Administration to celebrate Wild Life Week 2011.

Our school has bagged several prizes in Fanta Fiesta 2011 – an Inter School Cultural Festival.

Chirag Bagga of Class VI-A has been awarded the Third Position in 9-12 years category in a Painting Competition organized by ‘Rent Me Toy’ held on August 28, 2011.

Navkaran Singh of Class V-A has won Second Prize in Drawing Competition organized by Sector 34 Gurudwara on the occasion of Anti-Tobacco Day.

Kairvi Chona and Rhea of Chass IX bagged the First Prize in ‘Techno Minds’ – a PowerPoint Presentation Competition held at Shemrock Senior Sec. School, Chandigarh.
