Academic Achievements

Our School team comprising of the following students participated in the Strawberry Fields High School Parliamentary Debating Championship held on November 16 and November 17, 2019. The three participants were awarded Certificates of Excellence as Semifinalists:

Jeevant Rajeev (Class XI), Siona (Class X) and Aditya Bhargava (Class X)

Two teams comprising of the following students participated in Hansraj Parliamentary Debating Championship held on November 2 and November 3, 2019:

Jeevant Rajeev (Class XI), Ayush Hans (Class IX), Aditya Bhargava (Class X), Aditi Jha (Class XI), Avantika Sud (Class XI) and Aarushi Aggarwal (Class XI)

Both the teams were awarded Certificates of excellence as Semifinalists.

Our team participated in Annual Computer Carnival held at Stepping Stones School on September 28, 2019. Banisimar and Sanchit (Class XI)  bagged 3rd position in Blog creation. Hridae and Sanil (Class XII) bagged 3rd position in Quiz. Rachit Bhandari (Class IX) secured 3rd position in Animated Story in Scratch.

Vansh Bhandari (IX-H) won a Lenovo Tab as gratification under the All India Math Challenge conducted by Meritnation in partnership with NIE.

Ishaan Mahajan  (Class XII) of our School stood Second in the Annual Inter School Business Venture Competition held on August 22, 2019 at Vivek High School, Chandigarh.

Our team comprising of Hirdae Singh Sandhu (Class XII) and Aditya Prasad (Class XI) won First Prize in 3rd Raman Physics Quiz at Bhavan Vidyalaya on 26th August 2019. They also won a cash award of Rs. 4000/-.

Our team comprising of Gurkirat Singh Nayyar, Aishwarya Goyal and Tanvi Saxena, participated in the Zonal Round of the Fortis Annual National Psychology Quiz named ‘Psych-Ed’ held at Fortis Mohali on 16th August 2019. The team has qualified for the Finale which will be held at Fortis, Gurugram in September 2019.

Aarushi Aggarwal, Aditi Jha and Avantika Sud (Class XI) won the First Runners Up Trophy at Parliamentary Debate Competition held at Banyan Tree School on August 17-August 18, 2019

Our School team, comprising of Hridae Singh Sandhu (Class XII), Anmol Kapoor (Class XII) and Aditya Prasad (Class XI) bagged the First position in Science Quiz– Coalesce 2019 organised by St. John’s School on August 7, 2019.

Our School Junior Level Team (Classes 6-8) comprising of Daiwik Goyal (VI-G),    Prabhnoor (VIII-B) and Chaitanya Singla (VIII-G) won the Inter DPS Quiz -2019(Zone I) at an event organised by DPS, Ambala on August 2, 2019. The would be going for the Nationals.

QBIZ-Inter-School Business Quiz 2019 (School-level) was conducted by University of Frazer Valley at DPS Chandigarh on July 19, 2019. The students of Class XI and XII participated in it. The winners were:

Uditi (XII- A), Kanwar Shivraj (XI-D), Utsav (XII-A), Shaurya (XII-A), Anmol Bedi  (XI-E)

The winners will participate in the Zonal Round competing with 120 Schools of North Zone.

Our students won several prizes in different categories in Bishop Gilbert Rego Memorial IT Carnival 2019 organised by St. Anne’s Convent School, Chandigarh on July 12, 2019.

Appreciation award in Cyber Design (Anaaya Jaryal  – Class IV)

Arnav Sahoo, Gunveen Gill, Haroon Pal Singh Bedi, Krishneet Lamba and Shreya of Class IX of our School participated in the project based on studying Biodiversity under the Earthian Sustainability Education Programme. They received appreciation certificates for submitting the best project from the State for Wipro Earthian 2018 School category at a ceremony held on 16th April at New Public School, Chandigarh.

Devansh Bhalla (Class IV), Ayaan Mittal (Class IV), Akshita (Class V) and Aarav Srivastav (Class V)  secured in the range of 75 percent -90 percent in the Green Olympiad Result 2018-19.

Aarav Srivastav (V-F) of our School excelled in GREEN Olympiad Examination    (Level- I 2018-19) conducted by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi. He is declared the ‘State Winner’ from Chandigarh.
