Academic Achievements

Aarna Goyal (Class VI) bagged School Rank 1 and International Rank 30 securing a Gold medal of distinction at zonal level in SOF International Mathematics Olympiad 2022-23. She has also qualified for level II examination.

Abhijay Sharma (Class VI)  bagged School Rank 4 and Gold medal of excellence in SOF National Science Olympiad 2022-23. He has also qualified for level II examination.

Amisha and Brahmjot of Class 8 got Second Prize in State Level Maths, Science and Environment Exhibition 2022 held at SCERT 32 .They also got a cash prize of Rs 3100.
They had prepared eco charger .

Three students of Psychology, Class XII, Raahal Hundal, Sukhmani Kaur, and Ananya Garg participated in the National Psychology Quiz (Psych-Ed), organized by Fortis Healthcare. They got 1st Position in the State and went uptill the zonal round which was held in Fortis Hospital, Mohali on 19th November, 2022.

Medhansh Adlakha of Class XII and Shubh Adlakha of class IX participated in the INTER-DPS VIRTUAL QUIZ ZONE-1 held by DPS NOIDA and conducted by QGKS on 31st October ,2022 and achieved the 2nd Position in it .

Agrima Sudhir and Yashmit Segal of Class XII secured the 2nd Runners up position as a team in the Chandigarh Round of U Genius, a National Level General Awareness Quiz Competition organised by The Union Bank of India, held at Tagore Theatre, Sector 18 Chandigarh on 6th October, 2022. They were first shortlisted among the top 6 from a total of 220 teams through a pen and paper round and subsequently bagged the Third Position in the Final Round.

Sajolie of Class XII (2021-22) has done everyone proud by getting All India Rank 725 in the NEET result declared. Also she is ranked 4th in Chandigarh.

She will be joining AIIMS.

Adhway Krishan (Class IX) secured International Rank 72 in Unified Cyber Olympiad in the academic year 2021-22.

Adhway Krishan (Class IX) secured International Rank 28 in Unified International Mathematics Olympiad in the academic year 2021-22.

Adhway Krishan (Class IX) attained 72nd rank at International level in Unified Cyber Olympiad 2021-2022.
He was awarded a Gold medal, a Certificate of Appreciation, a Gift voucher and a Book.

Agrima Sudhir of class 11-C secured Third Rank in the State Level Camp (Level 2) Examination, of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (Science Talent Search) 2021-22 held on Sunday, 13 February 2022. A cash prize of ₹2000 was also awarded to her.

Siddhant Agrawal (Class X) and Prabhnoor (Class VIII) will be representing our School for 47th Jawaharlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition to be held in New Delhi from 8-02-2022 in virtual mode. The project is based on radio frequency identification RFID tag that contains an integrated circuit and an antenna which is used to transfer data to RFID reader and it is then converted to a more useful form of data.

Blazing the path of excellence even on the virtual platform, DPS, Chd participated in the ‘Inter-School Literary Forum’ from 25^th to 27^th August 2021 held by The Millennium School, Amritsar and came out a winner. The Debate Team comprising of Ritwik Kanojia and Saranya Thakar of Class X and Vanshika Yadav and Gauri Sidana of Class XI and XII respectively was adjudged as the best debating team winning the First position out of 22 entries. The team spoke on ‘OTT Platform Needs Creative Freedom’.

Saranya Thakar and Gauri Sidana were declared the best speakers in Opposition. Students gave a  praise worthy performance in other events such as Poetry Recitation and Speech cum Presentation.

Suhani Sharma (Class IX) secured First Position at the National Level of ‘Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan’. The exam was held on 30^th May, 2021.She also secured First place both at the State and the District Levels.

SCERT, Chandigarh announced Stage 1 STSE Exam result that was held on 13th December 2020. Three students from DPS Chandigarh are placed in the merit list.

Raghav Goyal (Class X-D) topped the list with a grand total of 183 marks.

Gunveen Gill (Class X-G) scored 175 marks and Himanshi Garg (Class X-H) made to the list with 174 marks.
