Academic Achievements

Tanisha Panwar of Class IV-B has bagged the ‘Award of Honour’ Prize for her excellent performance in ‘Challenges’ a national level Abacus Competition.

Our school has bagged the Third Prize in the senior category and Fourth Prize in the Junior Category of State Level Competition of National Science Congress 2011. The Senior Team comprised of Kulbir, Sanchit, Lakshay and Sumedha of Class IX and Sai of Class X. The Junior Team comprised Karan Mittal, Gurasis and Nishant of Class VII and Arpit and Shivansh of Class VIII.

Our school bagged the Third Position in the State Level Science Exhibition 2011 organized by State Institute of Education, U.T. Chandigarh. The team comprised of Vimarsh, Vrinda, Priyadarshini, Ameekul and Aakash of Class X. A cash prize of Rs. 1100/- was also awarded to the school for this achievement.

Pranav Langer of Class XI has been selected by the Ministry of Science and Technology, New Delhi to prepare a Science Project / Model to be displayed at the State Level Exhibition Centre. He has received an amount of Rs. 5000/- as a grant for the same.

Nehmat Gondara of Class X-E bagged the Sixth Position in the State Science Seminar 2011 organized by the State Institute of Education, Sec 32, Chandigarh. She has qualified for a presentation at the National Level.

Gurtej Singh Sohi of Class X and Varunveer of Class XI bagged the Second Position in the Inter DPS Quiz Competition held at DPS Manali on 16th July, 2011.

Karman Kaur of Class X and Jannat Brar and Megha of Class IX bagged the First Position in I.J. Dewan Memorial Educational Workshop organized by Department of Anatomy at PGIMER on 22nd & 23rd July, 2011.

In the same event, Gurvishvraj Singh of Class X bagged the Second Position.

Sanat Bhatia of Class III, Shambhavi Ratnapriya of Class X, Shreyam Sinha of Class X, Anirudh Seth of Class XII and Abhishek Arora of Class XII were awarded for their exceptional performance in various olympiads conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation.

Pranay Garg of Class V-C has secured the Third Position in the Chandigarh-Mohali-Panchkula region in National Level Science Talent Search Examination. He has secured the 301st Position at the All India Level.

Arnav Gupta of Class III-G has received a Champion’s Trophy for his excellent performance in the 17th National Abacus Competition held at New Delhi.

Shreyam of Class X has been selected among top 100 meritorious students in the 2nd Level of DPS Science & Maths Talent Examination conducted by DPS Society. He has received a cash prize of Rs. 4000/- for securing the 45th All India Rank.

Aab of Class III has bagged a Silver Medal in 17th National Brain ‘O’ Brain Abacus Competition held at New Delhi on 10th April, 2011.

Anchit Gupta of Class X, Delhi Public School, Chandigarh was one of the 30 students selected from all over India to attend a computing camp at National University of Singapore in December, 2010.

Nilesh Biswas and Khushboo Saha of Class VIII attended ‘The National Young Environmentalists’ Meet held at New Delhi in February, 2011.

Saksham S. Malhotra of Class V has been awarded a consolation prize of Rs. 3000/- in Max New York Life Igenius Scholarship 2010 scheme.
