  1. Suhani Sharma, Head Girl (XII), will represent India at the ISEF 2025.

    After four rounds of presentations and interviews at the IRIS National Fair held on 8th-9th Feb 2025, Suhani Sharma’s Engineering Mechanics project has been shortlisted to represent the country at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Columbus, Ohio, scheduled for May 10-16, 2025.

    By dint of her hard work, dedication and innovation, Suhani has earned this place among the country’s brightest young minds. Her project is titled “Hinged Threading – a Novel Method to Deploy Convex Polyhedral Nets.”

  2. Guntas Kaur Sandhu, a Class 9H student of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, is the youngest Indian golfer selected for the 2025 Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific (WAAP). The tournament, organized by Asia- Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC) and The Royal and the Ancient Golf (R&A), will be held from March 6-9, 2025, at Hoiana Shores Golf Club, Vietnam. There are only 6 Indian golfers that are invited to represent India at the Women’s Amateur Asia Pacific . She is in the top 3 golfers to be directly invited from the APGC andThe R&A by the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) .Competing alongside world’s top-ranked amateurs, Guntas’s selection marks a remarkable achievement in her golfing journey.

  3. Success is not just about winning, but about the dedication and effort put into learning. Two brilliant students from Delhi Public School (DPS) have showcased exceptional talent in the field of psychology. Mehar Walia, a Grade XI student, and Shreya, from Grade XII, participated in the prestigious UNI-QUIZ 2024, India’s National Level Online Psychology Quiz. Their remarkable performance not only highlighted their dedication and hard work but also earned them the coveted gold medal and a certificate of excellence.Both students have proven their academic prowess and their deep understanding of psychology, emerging as shining examples of academic excellence. This accomplishment is a proud moment for DPS, and we celebrate their achievement with great joy.

  4. Samaaira Bedi, of Class VI A took an active part in the *World Car-Free Day initiative, celebrated on 22nd September 2024 organised by group CYCLEGIRI in association with Chandigarh Tourism

    As part of this global effort to raise awareness about environmental conservation, she rode 30 kilometers by bicycle.

    This personal achievement is more than a physical challenge for her. She did this with the intention of spreading an important message to her peers, neighbors, and the community at large – to embrace eco-friendly habits and reduce our reliance on vehicles to help save our environment.

    Her enthusiasm for this cause, combined with the support from her school’s values of environmental consciousness, has encouraged her to take such initiatives and share her message with others. She hopes to inspire more students and families to take part in similar activities in the future.

  5. Once again our students exhibited outstanding performance at Chandigarh North district and South district Athletic championship sector 7, sports complex and best school trophy announce Delhi public school sector 40/C, Chandigarh.

    We end up with total 16 medals and the total no of medals is 33.

    Today the following students are
    1) Maisha (8/C) got Gold medal in Trithlon C. Athletics events.
    2) lavanya (7/D) got Gold medal in Trithlon A.
    3)Anaaya (9/D) silver medal in Trithlon B.
    4) Arshiya (8/E) bronze medal in Trithlon B.
    5) Gautmi (9/E) silver medal in shot put U-16 girls age category.
    6) Agriya (10/C) bronze medal in shot put U-16 girls age category.
    7)Aarush (9/A) gold medal in Trithlon A.
    8) Aryan (8/G) silver medal in Trithlon A.
    9) Amisha (10/f) bronze medal in high jump U-16 girls age category.
    10) Devansh Anand(9/D) silver medal in High jump U-16 boys age category.
    11) Kriyansh (5/A) bronze medal in 60 Mt race under -12 boys age category.

    12) 4*100 mt relay race in second position under-16 boys age category

  6. Deelisha Trikha, IX-E badged silver in Kyorugi(fight) and silver in Board Breaking at the State Qualification Taekwondo Championship held on 23 & 24 November at Sports Complex, Sector-56, Chandigarh.

  7. Harshita Srikrishna of class IX D won a silver medal for kyorugi and a gold medal in board breaking in the Cadet U-45 kg category at the 9th Stepping Stones Open Taekwondo Championship 2024 – 25 held on 17th November 2024 at Sports Complex, Sector 56, Chandigarh.

  8. Aarav Sharma of Class IV C participated in Mohali District Chess Championship organized by District Chess Assiciation held on December 1, 2024 at Virsa Bhawan. Sector-69, Mohali. He secured 2nd position and won a medal.

  9. Nibha Ashraf of class 9C won a Bronze medal in 3000 meter rink race
    in 62nd speed Skating Nationals held in Mysore from 5th till 15th December 2024.

  10. Aadya Gupta of Class IV E won the 1st Prize in U9 Chess competition. The event was conducted on 1st December,2024 by SAS Nagar District Chess Association. She won a trophy and a certificate.

  11. Suhani Sharma, Class XIIC, has secured a prestigious spot at the IRIS National Fair, a gateway to represent India at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). Her project in Engineering Mechanics was chosen through a highly competitive selection process among the sixty innovative projects with thousands of students applying nationwide. The IRIS fair, expected in February, brings together the country’s brightest young innovators. Every year, online applications open in September.
