The 62nd Independence Day was celebrated with great fervour and zeal at Delhi Public School, Chandigarh. The programme began with the unfurling of the ‘Tiranga’ along with rendition of our national anthem by all present.
The skit presented by a group of students portrayed that Indian women have the power to bridge the communal and religious differences and contribute in creating a great and united India.
The highlight of the day was the singing of ‘Sare Jahan Se Achha’ by all the students and staff with great pride and fervour.
