Mr. Robert J. Hindle, Assistant Principal, Bolton Sixth Form College, UK visited Delhi Public School, Chandigarh on 7th April 2010 as part of a cultural and educational exchange programme. This exchange programme which falls under the DFID Global School Partnership programme aims at building bridges between schools of India and U.K.
A special assembly on the theme ‘Raising Global Concern over the Ailing Planet’ was held on the occasion. Interactive sessions with students and teachers were organized. A group discussion on World Economy with special reference to the economies of India and UK was held. The students also gave a presentation on ‘Deepshikha’ a company being run by them in the school. Educational policies and Teaching Methodologies of Indian and UK schools were also shared.
