Delhi Public School, Sector 40, Chandigarh celebrated Teachers’ Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. A special assembly was conducted on the occasion. The students of the senior wing put up a brilliant show which was completely compered, organised and staged by the students council.
The programme began with a rocking performance by the school band, ‘Impulse’. This was followed by two enthralling dance performances and a well-staged skit.
The teachers also joined in the celebrations with dances and folk songs fully cheered on by the children. Various games were also organized for the teachers. The celebrations concluded with lunch for the staff.
