The excellence achieved by the students of Class IV in academics, sports and co- curricular activities was celebrated and given due recognition in the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony held in the school auditorium of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh.
Mr. Ashwin, Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax, Chandigarh graced the occasion with his presence.
The budding artists presented a short cultural program Aqua Magik. The theme of the show took us down into the deep blue ocean and gave us a glimpse of marine life.
The students danced energetically to foot tapping music and mesmerized the audience. They captivated one and all with their beautiful songs. The students also staged a play and through their powerful performance conveyed the importance of protecting and preserving the nature. Every child of Class IV participated with great enthusiasm and fervour.
Principal, Mrs. Reema Dewan extended her gratitude to all those who contributed in making this programme a success. She said that the ideology of the school is to reach out to each child and ensure that each child is confident as well as aware and committed. She advised the parent to value family time and cherish the moments they spend with their kids.
