The “Orientation Programme” for the parents of class Nursery of both DPS Chandigarh and DPS Mohali was held to welcome the tiny tots and share with the parents the school’s ideology and policies.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp followed by beautifully choreographed dances by the students of class Nursery and Prep.
The Principal, Ms. Reema Dewan welcomed the parents and gave an overview of the curriculum and teaching methodology followed in the school. Each orientation in school, she said, renews her belief in renewal itself, how the entire regeneration of school takes place, where one group of students of Class XII move out and a new one enters, giving us fresh enthusiasm. In her address to the parents, she sought their co-operation and assured them of support and guidance, at every step, from the DPS team.
The programme concluded with the introduction of the team of teachers. Later the parents took a round of the school and interacted with the class teachers.
