Delhi Public School Chandigarh celebrated ‘Cyber Wellness Week’ in the school premises.
Various activities were held to promote Cyber Awareness amongst the students. Students of class 7 participated in the Poster Making Competition on “Cyber Bullying”. Creative juices flowed and transformed into brilliant ideas on paper. These students also undertook a quiz on ‘Cyber space’. It was an exciting event that witnessed neck to neck competition amongst the teams resulting in a nail biting finish with a tie breaker question for the first position. Class 8 participated in Powerpoint Presentation Competition which successfully spread awareness about cyber safety among students. A debate competition was held for Class 9 and the orators argued out the role of ‘Social Media’ in today’s scenario. It was a tough call to decide whether Social media is a boon or bane for the society of today.
The Principal, Ms Reema Dewan, congratulated the winners and emphasized the need for holding more such events to create awareness among the students about the internet.
