Classes VI and VII of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh celebrated their Annual Field Show on 8 December, 2015.
The students participated with zeal and enthusiasm and put up a spectacular show. Ms Nidhi Srivastava, IFS, CF Admin Headquarters, Punjab and Mr Gurkirat Kirpal Singh, IAS, MD Markfed graced the occasion as the honoured guests. The day commenced with the releasing of balloons. The Principal congratulated the students motivating them to strive for excellence in a balanced and unified manner.
The meritorious students were awarded blazers, badges and trophies for their excellence in academics and co-curricular activities.
The show began with a melodious rendition highlighting the five elements, followed by a mesmerising, spellbinding and a wonderful performance depicting the ‘Panchmahabhutas’ – Jal , Vayu, Agni, Prithvi, Aakash . They won a thunderous applause from the audience for their riveting performance.
