Pre-Primary Wing celebrated Janamashtami with great fervor and gaiety. The children of Class I and Nursery came dressed in traditional attire. A beautiful backdrop was made with little Krishna in the cradle. To remember the day, a story on the birth of Lord Krishna was shown. Children enjoyed decorating dandiya sticks and flutes. They made beautiful cards, to carry home.
Children merrily performed Dandiya dance to the tunes of devotional songs. At the end of the day photographs of children were clicked and they were served sumptuous Krishna prasadam for a sweet ending to the entire celebration. They also rocked Krishna’s cradle. Principal ma’am also came and rocked the cradle. Children wished her ‘Happy Janamashtami ‘and offered her parshad.
