The Pre-Primary wing of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh was abuzz with excitement recently as the students of Class Prep I transformed into their favourite community helpers for an interactive role-play activity. Enthusiastically donning costumes and utilising creative props, the young learners brought diverse professions to life. Each child confidently presented their chosen helper, articulating their responsibilities and importance, thereby sharing insights into their daily tasks and crucial contributions. This engaging activity fostered creativity, imagination and significantly boosted the children’s communication skills. The ‘Community Helpers’ role-play activity was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression and highlighting the importance of community awareness in early childhood education.
