The Pre-primary wing of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh recently organised an exciting and educational activity once again on ‘Experiential Learning’, aimed at introducing young children to new concepts through hands-on experiences. The activity was designed to spark curiosity, enhance critical thinking skills and foster a love of learning.
During the activity, the children had the opportunity to engage in a variety of fun and interactive experiments, each focusing on different scientific concepts. One of the highlights was the ‘Water Pollution Experiment’, where children explored the effects of pollution on water. Another engaging experiment, ‘How Do Leaves Breathe?’, helped children understand the essential role plants play in our ecosystem. The ‘Bending Light (Refraction)’ experiment was also a favourite, providing a fun and visual way to introduce the concept of light refraction.
Under the careful guidance of their teachers, the children performed these experiments, asked questions and shared their observations. It was an exciting and enriching experience that sparked their imagination, encouraged hands-on learning and laid the foundation for future learning in science.
