Yamuna House organised ‘Diwali Assembly’

The school Diwali assembly at Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, was a vibrant celebration of India’s festival of lights. The event commenced with a solemn prayer, seeking divine blessings and prosperity.

A poignant poem on Diwali, recited by students, highlighted the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.

The cultural programme began with a lively Punjabi folk song, performed by the school choir.

The traditional Diwali dance, presented by the students , mesmerized the audience. Students had the audience glued to their seats as they showcased their swift movements depicting the happiness at the arrival of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.

The assembly concluded with a heartfelt message from the principal, emphasizing the significance of Diwali values: compassion, forgiveness, and unity.
