Pre-Primary Wing organized ‘Rakhi Making Activity’

Festivals help children learn about their cultural heritage and traditions and also strengthens family bonds as they bring families together for shared activities and rituals. Keeping the same in mind, we at Delhi Public School, Chandigarh organized a ‘Rakhi Making Activity’ for the students of the Pre-Primary wing. The children were enthusiastic and excited to participate as they selected their favorite colors and decorative material to create their own unique rakhis. The children were also told the importance of the festival and the tradition of tying ‘Rakhis’ as a symbol of love and protection. The activity concluded with the children all excited about giving their handmade rakhis to their siblings.
