We are proud to announce that Suhani Sharma, a student of 12C, has achieved remarkable success by securing a position among the top five oral presentations at the prestigious Research Science Institute, MIT Boston, USA. For her outstanding accomplishment, she was awarded a cheque of $1000.
For this intense six-week summer research program, Suhani was one of the only 30 international students selected alongside 70 high school students from the USA. Impressively, she was the only international student to be ranked in the top five.
The program began with a week of academic classes in physics and engineering, along with training in statistical analysis and research paper writing. Suhani then spent the next four weeks at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), where she developed her research proposal titled “Exploring Techniques to Form Deployable Structures,” which focused on the principles of graph threading.
