The Pre-Primary Wing of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh celebrated Baisakhi, the festival that is full of colours and vibrancy with great enthusiasm. The students learnt about the significance of this festival which marks the harvest of the rabi crops and how farmers pay their tribute by thanking God for an abundant harvest. A PowerPoint presentation was shown to the students to apprise them with the historical background, significance and relevance of this festival. Various craft activities like dhol making, kite making, etc were also conducted. The children were delighted to express themselves through this enriching experience.
