Delhi Public School Chandigarh celebrated Republic Day with great zeal and fervour. The tri-colour was hoisted in the school premises with the national anthem being played in the background. The melodious rendition of ‘Jai Jan Bharat’ moved everyone. Later, all staff members and students joined in for refreshments.
A Sports Day for classes IX & X was organized on the eve of Republic Day to mark the celebrations. Students competed with each other in various inter-house Football, Lawn Tennis and Basket Ball matches. The tiny tots celebrated the day by remembering the national heroes and making tri-colour sun shades and wrist bands.
