A recreational walk in the refreshing rain is what children crave for. The tiny tots of Class Nursery of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh were taken for a rain walk on July 20,2022 wearing their raincoats, crocs and holding their umbrellas. This was a “learning outside classroom” activity, where the children accompanied their teacher for a walk around the school premises to experience the sound and smell of the rain. This activity gave them an opportunity to observe their surroundings in the monsoon season. Children were excited to see the puddles, clouds, smell the mud, rain and feel of the rain drops. It was such a thrilling experience for the little ones.
