To make the children familiar with the colour green, ‘Green Week’ was organised for the students of Class Nursery of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh. Colour green was the flavour of the week and to teach colour recognition, green was used in all art and craft activities. Children also came dressed in green, carrying green objects. They thoroughly enjoyed the germination activity and named their plant as their ‘Green Buddy’. Tiny tots also enjoyed ‘Nature Walk’ and had fun exploring and locating green objects like grass, leaves and twigs. At the end of the week the kids took a pledge to keep their surroundings clean.
