The whole world faces the menace of tons of waste on our planet. Therefore, the Pre-primary wing of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh organized an activity on ‘Waste Segregation’ to make the tiny tots aware about the importance of recycling and waste segregation. The students learnt to identify dry and wet waste and put in separate coloured dustbins. They watched videos to learn how and why waste material should be separated and how it is recycled. They also participated in an activity in which pictures of different waste were shown to them and they picked the dustbins according to wet or dry waste segregation. It was a day full of knowledge and fun.
