The children of the Pre- Primary Wing of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh celebrated Independence Day with great fervour. To inculcate the feeling of nationalism and patriotism, children took part in the second segment of the Early Learning Series Programme- ‘PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN’ during the online class. The students were apprised about the supreme sacrifice of the great leaders who gave their lives for the sake of freedom. Poems were recited and songs were sung. The children dressed up as famous personalities and spoke about them. The day ended happily with children filled with patriotic feelings and pride for our Nation.
